The Cancer Puzzle

This exhibition covers past, current and future endeavours in cancer research and looks at the personal stories of three contemporary artists affected by the disease,
Polixeni Papapetrou, Leslie Morgan and myself.
My works included petals from the flowers I received during recovery set inside glass lenses. "In The Silence I Can Hear My Tears Fall" presented 5 dark self portraits and journal entries in glass cloches to illustrate my battle with depression after treatment. For the last piece I sewed together pressed petals to make whole flowers. I nurtured my garden during my recovery and these flowers represent hope.
