Type and Glass

This page contains images of type tests and finished pieces which combine typography within glass. Many of these are typographic tests which were undertaken during my Graduate Diploma and Master of Fine Arts at Monash University, Melbourne. I identified ways of combining images and text with glass using materials such as silver leaf, copper, fiberglass, lustres and paints. My work is generally warm glass processes (fusing and casting), however there are some examples here of blown glass and furnace cast work. Photogrphy by Nick Harris, Monash University Forecast Project and Andrew Barcham.
